Innane laws or attempts at making them

I saw a while back that the state of California was trying to yet again pass video game legislation, basically prohibiting sales of certain games to minors and if said games were sold then levying rediculous fines on the retailers. First off to me at least that is way over stepping a States authority in matters such as this, they were saying that these games led to an increase in the chances of these kids committing violent crimes. My 13 year old son and I play dead rising quite often and frankly enjoy the hell out of it, running zombies over with snow blowers and lawn mowers, picking one up with a drill bit and using it to annihalate others until it disintigrates. Great entertainment and quality bonding time is what it is for us, he also plays grand theft auto saints row call of duty and all these so called corrupting games as do I. He is also an A and B student in school and has no tendecies towards violence or violent behavior, he is intelligent enough to know that these games are fantasy perhaps if the parents paid more attention to their children instead of whatever it is they are caught up in then these kids would be at home gaming with their parents instead of out being stupid food for thought.

Reverse bmortgage my ass.

As i watch all the commercials for the so called reverse mortgage fgor senior citezens it makes me laugh. My father in law is 65 years old and tried for one of those so called reverse mortgages and was less than politely turned down, in fact he was hung up on by the jackwagon he was talking to on the phone. What they should tell you on those commercials is we will give you a reverse mortgage if you have a 200.000.00 house that needs absolutely no work. If on the other hand you have a 50.000.00 house that needs a little work you get the middle finger and a rude goodbye or hung up on. So my thoughts would be dont call for a reverse mortgage unless you are a retired millionaire cause if you are not rich and own a palatial estate you will not receive anything.

All that Glitters Can be Gold if you want it to be.

Essentially that title is self explanitory however I will elaborate some for you, my Wife and I have been in business for a couple of months now and are already showing a profit. We opened Fergy's Cafe in Rising City, Nebraska on ten thousand dollars that we borrowed, I was laid off from the machine shop she from Wal Mart we lived off of our combined unemployment for more than a year. Kept our essentials on and still made our house payments it was'nt easy but we managed, now I fast forward to opening day a cold blustery day in March of this year we did not have our liquor license and did not want to wait around for it that would've been non productive. We ran it by ourselves and put all available funds right back into the Cafe. We spent only enough to Keep those same essentials or utillities if you will turned on and kept up the house and store payments, am I a genious not hardly I simply know how to budget available funds and get the most out of them. Now unlike the president I have created a few jobs and taken a family off of welfare in a good way, so my Wife and I invite all travelers on Highhway 92 who are near Rising City, Nebraska to stop in and Eat at Fergy's Cafe where the food is so great that you'll Scrape your Plate and you wont break yourself as our prices are quite nice and affordable for all.

Life at the Cafe.

I may be somewhat of an oddity amongst people but I actually enjoy being up at four in the morning and being at the cafe at five in the morning to get the Biscuits and Gravy going and heat up the grill and the oven and the fryer, why would anyone enjoy this you wonder well it is made well worth it by the daily morning commute of all my regulars that come in for a sit down breakfast as well as those that come in to get freshly made hot grab and go breakfast sandwiches and a cup of coffee. You see at Fergy's Cafe on highway 92 in southeast Nebraska you can get Breakfast at nine thirty at night or you can get a freshly made Cheeseburger at Six in the morning, so if you are traveling highway 92 and are coming up on Rising City, Nebraska swing off the highway into our parking lot and see for yourself that at Fergy's Cafe the food is so GREAT you'll SCRAPE your PLATE.

If you are traveling on U.S.Highway 92 through Southeast Nebraska and are approaching Rising City, stop in and eat at Fergy's Cafe where the food is so great that you'll scrape your plate. Yes you could say that I am biased as my Wife and I are the owners, however since we actually do more business in the Cafe than we do in the C Store their is probably something to the claim. We have a large and continually growing menu as I always find new items to add and like most Cafe's you can get Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner at any time. We also feature "Papa Fergy's Calzones, Mini Pizzas (7") or full size Pizzas(14") made fresh to order as are all other menu items, we do have a heated display for those on the go to get fresh hot sandwiches or a couple of hot dogs or polish sausages or cheddar dogs. Great Rueben Sandwhiches or Philly Steak Sandwhiches as well, we also have the usual fare for C Stores as well as a small grocery section. So keep us in mind if you're in this area fast friendly service at a very customer friendly price. Amazingly enough I have had several people tell me I should charge more than what I do, well I learned long ago that it is better to make a small per item profit from a lot of people than to make a huge per item profit from not many people. At Fergy's Cafe we still like to make money and live the American Dream however you can do this without robbing the public. It is better to make a little and provide a great service to the community than to try and make a lot by charging rediculous prices and pray that you make a few sales. I know 90% of my customers by name as I see them every day happy people will always return for more of the same things that bought them there to began with, so pull in off the highway and stretch your legs get a bite to eat or a cold soda and a candy bar or come in and sit for a while and drink some coffee or fountain pop. Dont forget your Lap Top as we also have Wi Fi for those that want to face book or blog while they eat, enjoy the day and learn why I always say that the customer is why

Life is PEACHY.

As my wife and I advance further into the process of opening our store things just continue to get better, it is especially satisfying knowing that it throws the words of all the doubters and neigh sayers back into their smug little faces.
So as I have said life is peachy for us and maybe not so much for those who said that we could never get this accomplished, always believe in and follow your dreams the only way they can come true is if you make them.

What is he thinking?

I was watching MSNBC the other day and was amazed that after all this time in office Barrack Obama is still shoveling the load onto George Bush, he's been in office for nearly a year and the economy is worse, unemployment is worse, pretty much everything has gotten worse and he still wants to blame the previous administration.
Stop dickering around and own up to your own shit for once, as I recall during the election he stated that if he was elected we would finally be out of Iraq, instead he is sending more people over their. It seems to me that the hunt for Osama Bin Laden has taken a back seat or been entirely forgotten, Insane Huessein was not a part of the equation and that was a personal Bush Vendetta. Meanwhile Bin Hidin is still out their hiding somewhere plotting his next attack, isnt it time to figure out that the Iraqui people need to solve their own problems just as we need to be hunting down Bin Laden before he can do anything else? enquiring minds want to know so let me know what you think all opinions are welcome.
